Can Oso mudslide highway be saved?

EVERETT (AP) — Community meetings are planned this week as Snohomish County and state officials discuss ways to clear or replace the one-mile stretch of Highway 530 covered by the Oso mudslide.

The Daily Herald reports (http://bit.ly/OPKiFV) meetings are scheduled Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in Darrington, Oso and Arlington.
