Mortenson Construction

Several new faces joined Mortenson Construction in the Northwest: Steve House as estimating intern; Jenni Peer as associate project accountant; and Whitney Thomas, AJ Sherman, Shane Sterr, Marianna Rojas and Rachael Evans as field engineers. House graduated in May from Allegheny College. Peer is supporting the project teams in the Kirkland office. She holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Montana State University. Thomas is working on interior scopes at Touchstone's Tilt49 project. She holds a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering with an emphasis in construction management from the University of Colorado Boulder. Sherman is working on the University of Washington Tacoma project after graduating in May from Marquette University with a bachelor's degree in construction engineering and management. Sterr is working on the Residence Inn by Marriott project. He graduated from Brigham Young University. Rojas is working on the UW Medical Center project. She studied civil and environmental engineering at the UW. Evans interned with Mortenson last summer at the Chambers Creek treatment plant project, and is now working on the 12th and Market apartment in Portland.
