The Seattle office of Lease Crutcher Lewis promoted Beth Pepin to cost engineer; and hired Jim Stefansson as senior estimator; Phil Johnson as project manager; Ushik Shah as project engineer and VDC coordinator; Charity MacDowell, Shalin Shah and Matt Crowley as project engineers; and Francis Jaros and Lyndi Richmond as BIM detailers. Pepin has been with Lewis for four years and was in the construction management field before that. She holds a bachelor's degree and a construction management certificate from the University of Washington. Stefansson has 35 years of experience in estimating and preconstruction, as well as project management and carpentry. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the UW. Johnson has 13 years of experience in mechanical design-build and general contracting, and holds a bachelor's degree from Western Washington University. Ushik Shah, LEED GA, earned his master's degree in construction management from Purdue University in 2014 and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Pune. MacDowell has seven years of construction experience, and holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from Cal State Chico. Shalin Shah has four years of construction experience, and holds a master's degree in civil engineering from Stanford. Crowley, PE, has five years of experience in design and construction, and holds bachelor's degrees in civil engineering from Clemson University and applied physics from Coastal Carolina University. Jaros has been a carpenter, field supervisor and owner of a contracting firm for over 24 years. He holds an associate's degree in architectural drafting from Lake Washington Tech. Richmond recently earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Washington State University Everett, where she was an officer at the Society of Women Engineers.
