SEATTLE — Sound Transit is planning bus rapid transit service on state Route 522 to serve the future Shoreline South/145th light rail station.
The agency will hold a series of public meetings over the next month to share updates on the project and get feedback.
The line will serve communities in Shoreline, Lake Forest Park, Kenmore and Bothell. Riders will be able to transfer to the Interstate 405 bus rapid transit line, Link light rail and other transit.
Construction is scheduled to begin in 2023, with service starting in 2024.
The first public meeting will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sept. 20 at the The Hangar at Town Square in Kenmore. See the full schedule online at https://sr522brt.participate.online/, or participate in an online survey through Oct. 19.
