Construction to start in 2020 on $2.7M Volunteer Park amphitheater

The new amphitheater will replace one designed in 1971 by the late Seattle landscape architect Richard Haag.

There will be a meeting about plans to replace the Volunteer Park amphitheater on Capitol Hill, from 7 to 8 p.m. Jan. 31 at Miller Community Center at 330 19th Ave. E.
