Doug Shoop retired as manager of the Richland Operations Office after 20 years with the U.S. Department of Energy. Brian Vance is the temporary acting field manager for the office, as well as for the Office of River Protection. Vance will coordinate the two offices and their contractors as Hanford gears up for low-level tank waste treatment by 2023.
