SEATTLE — Seattle City Light received a $500,000 Save America's Treasures grant for rehabilitation of the exterior of the Georgetown Steam Plant, a 113-year old National Historic Landmark, the National Park Service said.
The work will extend the building's life, protect early era electrical equipment and allow more public use, the NPS and City Light said in a press release.
