Skanska inks $778M light rail contract

SEATTLE — Skanska last month said it signed a $778 million contract with Sound Transit for the L300 package of the Lynnwood Link Extension.

The L300 project, which is underway, builds 3.8 miles of guideway (including 2.2 miles of aerial guideway), two elevated stations and a five-story parking garage. Work is taking place in the cities of Shoreline, Mountlake Terrace and Lynnwood.
