Last 2 Redmond light rail station designs take shape

Southeast Redmond Station will have a five-story parking garage with 1,400 stalls.

Sound Transit broke ground last October on its $1.5 billion Downtown Redmond Link Extension. In December, the city of Redmond got a better look at the two stations that'll be added to the east end of the light rail line, which will connect Seattle to downtown Redmond in 2024. (That's a year after Link will reach Redmond Technology Center, close to Microsoft's main campus in Overlake.)
