Port revises RFP for cruise terminal, adds more environmental measures

  • The port wants to open the new dock by the start of the 2023 cruise season.

    The cruise terminal at Terminal 46 would occupy the northern 29 acres. The Northwest Seaport Alliance has a separate proposal to redevelop about 50 acres on the south end into a cargo terminal.

    The Port of Seattle last year issued a request for qualifications for firms interested in partnering with it on a new $200 million cruise ship facility at Terminal 46.
