MWH/Kiewit JV gets contract for $820M Portland water plant

The water bureau built a pilot plant at its Bull Run headworks site to test treatment methods.

A joint venture of MWH Constructors and Kiewit has been awarded a contract to build an $820 million treatment plant that will process nearly all of Portland's drinking water.
