Construction giant Skanska is holding its annual Bricks & Books fundraising event online this year due to the pandemic. The now month-long event benefits Seattle nonprofit Rainier Scholars, which provides low-income students of color with equitable access to a quality education. Last year's auction raised $287,000 for Rainier Scholars and Skanska has raised over $1 million through Bricks & Books over eight years. This year's campaign runs through Sept. 4. Donations can be made at http://www.tinyurl.com/SkanskaRS.
