The Green Electronics Council and managers of the Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool recognized Department of Energy offices and several Hanford Site contractors for their efforts to purchase products that protect the environment, conserve energy and reduce costs. The contractors included CH2M Hill Plateau Remediation Co., HPMC Occupational Medical Services, Mission Support Alliance, Washington River Protection Solutions and Wastren Advantage. This is the first year that DOE has won the award and the fourth straight year that the contracting team has won it.
