The Walsh Group raised nearly $25,000 in this year's Food Frenzy, which benefits Food Lifeline, beating its goal by over $9,000. The two-week competition pits local companies against one another to raise money, collect food and promote hunger awareness in western Washington. In addition to the money, Walsh's Seattle region collected over 3,400 canned food items and the contractor's staff volunteered in the Food Lifeline warehouse. Walsh came in fifth out of 48 teams in Food Frenzy, and was second among AEC contestants.
