Bellingham-based Dawson Construction hired Gursahib Patara as project engineer and Jeff Morgan as assistant superintendent; and promoted Ryan Binning to director of business operations and Alex Yuska to assistant project manager. Patara recently graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor's degree in construction management and worked a year ago as a summer intern for Dawson. Morgan has experience building assisted-living and memory care facilities, and was an engineer officer for the North Carolina National Guard. Binning worked as an estimator manager for a year at Dawson before stepping into his new role, which is a new position at the company. Yuska was a project engineer. He grew up in a construction family and has worked his way into management positions after beginning at Dawson as a summer intern while he earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Gonzaga University. Established in 1967, Dawson Construction is a general contractor serving Alaska and Washington.
