Wenatchee-based Goodfellow Bros. is 100 years old and is celebrating by offering a $50,000 grant to charities. The heavy-civil contractor was founded by three Goodfellow brothers — Jack, Bert and Jim Sr. — and is now in its fourth-generation of family owners. Over the years, it has completed a wide range of complex projects ranging from high-tech campuses in Silicon Valley to wind farms, entertainment arenas and environmental restorations. It has over 1,000 employees and 12 offices in Washington, Oregon, California and Hawaii. Goodfellow is accepting grant applications until Sept. 20 from charities where it has offices.
