Construction to start next month on Eastside supportive housing campus

Polaris at Eastgate, foreground, will have 360 units for low-income wage earners in two buildings. A shelter and supportive housing are behind it.

King County and the city of Bellevue are helping kick off a $186 million homeless shelter and supportive housing campus that will serve the Eastside. The campus will be built on surplus King County property in Bellevue on Eastgate Way near Seattle Humane.
