Gov. Jay Inslee's latest COVID-19 emergency proclamation, enacted on Monday, likely will impact some construction workers — and it could come down to getting a shot or not working.
The proclamation bars those who are not fully vaccinated from working at state agencies after Oct. 18. This not only includes those employed by the state, but also construction workers working on state property, according to a bulletin sent yesterday by the AGC of Washington to its members. Even delivery drivers are affected.
