Carpenters expected to strike today

One of the projects not affected by the strike is the $497 million Colman Dock rebuild, which has a project labor agreement.

Thousands of members of the Northwest Carpenters Union are expected to go on strike today after rejecting a four-year deal on Saturday that would have boosted wages and benefits by 20.4%.
