Worker dies at convention center

SEATTLE — Capitol Hill Seattle Blog reports that a worker died Monday afternoon when equipment fell from an upper level of the Washington State Convention Center addition jobsite in Seattle.

A Facebook post by Cement Masons Local 528 identified the worker as plasterer Bryan Phillips. It said he was a member of Local 528 for 11 years.
