Analysis: Washington added 4.9K construction jobs during pandemic

Washington, along with 15 other states and the District of Columbia, added construction jobs since the start of the pandemic, according to an analysis of federal employment data released Friday by the Associated General Contractors of America.

The data shows Washington added 4,900 construction jobs from February 2020 to last month — eighth best in the nation on a percentage basis. That was a 2.2% increase.
