It's grime time again, as crews get ready to clean Agate Pass Bridge

Like they have done in the past, crews will use an under bridge inspection truck for next week’s bridge cleaning.

The Washington State Department of Transportation next week will clean Agate Pass Bridge, which connects Bainbridge Island to the Kitsap Peninsula. It's an annual ritual that keeps the structure clean so that inspectors can see any problems when they check out the 1,229-foot-long bridge every other year.
