As Teamsters strike lingers, county puts out RFQ for concrete suppliers

Scarsella crews yesterday moved dirt for the south access surface street connections project in Seattle. They will eventually need concrete.

The months-long strike by union workers in the concrete industry took an unusual turn on Wednesday, as King County announced it is seeking a concrete supplier contract for numerous projects.
