4EA Building Science

Tribe

Roberts

Neugebauer

Mak

Binkley

As part of restructuring and a rebrand from JRS Engineering to 4EA Building Science, the building enclosure consulting firm named five new shareholders: Clarissa Binkley, Joyce Mak, Adam Neugebauer, Caelum Roberts and Charlie Tribe. Binkley has over a decade of experience in enclosure consulting in the U.S. and Canada, and is director of the firm’s Oakland office. Mak, a project manager in Seattle, is a civil engineer specializing in building science with a focus in high-rise projects and how building components’ interaction with the environment impacts design. Neugebauer, also a project manager in Seattle, began his career in 2007 working in the Southwest on single-family homes. He later earned a master’s degree in building technology at MIT, where he researched a granulated aerogel thermal insulation system. Roberts, a building science specialist in the Seattle area, has been working in condo rehabilitation since 2005. He also has been involved in design and construction administration on reroof, reclad and repair projects. Tribe has been in construction since 2005, and was a lead carpenter before joining 4EA in 2014. The firm says his knowledge of repair and remodeling for both mixed-use multifamily and commercial rehabilitation projects has grown to expertise in the full building enclosure. 4EA specializes in design, construction and rehabilitation of building enclosures. It has offices in Seattle and Oakland, California.
