Damage to I-405 overpass estimated at $2M

A truck hauling a backhoe struck the Lind Avenue overpass earlier this month.

Gov. Jay Inslee on Monday made an emergency proclamation to expedite repairs to the Lind Avenue overpass spanning Interstate 405 in Renton. The structure was damaged earlier this month when a truck hauling a backhoe on the freeway hit it.
