Firm foundation forming for new Marion Street pedestrian bridge

Two V-shaped columns will support the pedestrian bridge over Alaskan Way.

Two prominent parts of the new Marion Street pedestrian bridge are taking shape on both sides of Alaskan Way by Colman Dock. Here, crews from general contractor Flatiron have started formwork for the V-shaped columns that will hold up the elevated walkway's 110-foot span over the busy road.
