New opening date for LIHI project

SEATTLE – LIHI recently shared a new projected opening date for its Nesbit Family Housing affordable housing development at 8700 Aurora Ave. N. The project broke ground last December. At that time it was expected to open in May 2023. Opening has now shifted to next September. LIHI said the concrete strike is behind the delay.

Nesbit Family Housing will serve families and individuals making up to 60% of the King County area median income in 104 units of affordable housing. The building is six stories and 85,907 square feet. Amenities include communal space, a roof top terrace and outdoor landscape on grade. Bike storage will also be provided.
