Green Lake center to get $60M

SEATTLE — In its most recent Parks District Spending Plan proposal for the Seattle Metropolitan Parks District, the city has earmarked nearly $60 million for the Green Lake Community Center.

Funds include $56 million for expansion or rebuild construction of the center and $3.5 million for planning. The plan will be voted on by the full city council this week and, if confirmed, will be the district's spending plan for the next six years.
