Master development plan out for Fircrest School campus

  • Redevelopment could include a 120-bed nursing facility, 48-bed behavioral health center and 14 care cottages.

    Several new buildings could be built on the campus over the next 20 years.

    The state Department of Social & Health Services has prepared a master development plan and applied for a special use permit from the city of Shoreline to redevelop the state's Fircrest School campus at 15230 15th Ave. N.E. The facility supports about 200 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting that includes over 40 buildings.
