More blocks of Bell Street to be converted to one-way

The new Elliott Way will provide vehicle, bike and pedestrian connections to the waterfront. Bell Street will be reconfigured around Elliott Way.

Waterfront Seattle has started the design process for one of its smaller projects — improvements to Bell Street from First Avenue to Bell's terminus at Elliott Avenue. This $3.3 million project is part of the city of Seattle's plan to create better east-west connections for all modes of travel between the waterfront and Belltown, the downtown core and Pioneer Square.
