Pike-Pine project may start next week

SEATTLE — Waterfront Seattle announced that construction could start as early as next week on its Pike-Pine streetscape and bicycle improvements project.

The project will make Pike and Pine streets one-way from First Avenue to Bellevue Avenue, with Pike being one-way eastbound and Pine being one-way westbound. Improvements will also be made to crosswalks, sidewalks, and protected bike lanes along the corridor, and greenery and public seating will be added.
