Lease Crutcher Lewis

Lease Crutcher Lewis launched a new subsidiary business unit called Crutcher Structures, which focuses on building structural frames as a specialty subcontractor. Historically, Lease Crutcher Lewis has self-performed structural work on its own projects. Crutcher Structures offers these same services to a broader group of customers. Some of the services offered by the subsidiary include concrete construction; erection of steel frames; wood frame installations, including mass timber; construction support for tower cranes and other lifts; and preconstruction planning for design-build and design assist work. It is working on projects for several clients throughout the Seattle area, including Terminal 106 and 1916 Boren for Trammell Crow, Washington 1000 for Hudson Pacific Properties, 222 5th Avenue for Lincoln Properties, Chapter Building 1 for Touchstone, and First Light for Pacific Structures. Crutcher Structures is named for James (Jim) Crutcher, who spent 50 years at Lease Crutcher Lewis in roles that included president, CEO and chairman. “Delivering outstanding preconstruction services, which we do routinely as a general contractor, is a hallmark of this venture, allowing us to maximize value for our clients,” said Shannon Testa, director of operations for the new subsidiary, in a news release. “We can also capitalize on the economies of scale of our general contracting business to further drive value.”
