Ped bridge closing on Capitol Campus

OLYMPIA — The Washington Department of Enterprise Services on May 15 will temporarily close the pedestrian bridge that connects the East and West Capitol Campus in Olympia for public safety during a large construction project.

DES says the bridge will remain closed until 2025, when crews finish construction on a replacement of the Irv Newhouse Building as part of a project to update a portion of the West Capitol Campus. The team on the Newhouse project includes architect Miller Hull Partnership and general contractor/construction manger Hoffman Construction.
