Walt Hansen, senior project manager with Otto Rosenau & Associates, has retired after working over 25 years at the company and over 55 years in the construction industry. Hansen was a superintendent before transitioning in 1984 into the special inspection industry, where he applied that knowledge and experience. ORA says Hansen's insight and ability to work with project teams, as well as local building jurisdictions, was instrumental in resolving many challenges ranging from technical and financial issues to communication problems and personnel conflicts on complex projects. At ORA, Hansen estimated and managed thousands of projects for clients such as Boeing, local school districts, public works agencies, fire stations, religious organizations, hospitals, and transportation agencies.
