Boston Properties is sprucing up Safeco Plaza, focusing on tenants

The entrance on Fourth Avenue is getting a makeover, as is the entrance on Third.

Boston Properties says it's repositioning Safeco Plaza — often referred to as the box the Space Needle came in — to “enhance client success.” The building is downtown at 1001 Fourth Ave.
