Sound Transit, WSDOT mark start of Kirkland interchange/BRT project

The new interchange will have three levels, with the top carrying both directions of I-405 traffic.

Sound Transit, Washington State Department of Transportation and the city of Kirkland held a ground breaking ceremony last week for the Northeast 85th Street interchange project that includes a new inline Stride bus station and express toll lane direct access ramps to Interstate 405.
