Sound Transit to open initial East Link segment in late April

Sound Transit has been testing trains since early January.

Sound Transit yesterday said it will start service on April 27 for its initial segment of East Link, also called the 2 Line. This initial segment consists of eight stations in Bellevue and Redmond, two parking garages and 6.5 miles of track.
