Redmond senior center gets national recognition for climate-resilient wood

Redmond Senior and Community Center is expected to open in May.

Sustainable Northwest and Opsis Architecture say they have secured the first ever LEED point for wood products sourced from climate-resilient forestry. The point goes to the under-construction Redmond Senior and Community Center, which is at 15670 N.E. 85th St. and expected to be finished in May.
