Northwest Seaport Alliance looks at offshore wind power

Orsted and Eversource earlier this month powered up all 12 turbines of the South Fork Wind project off the coast of New York.

The Northwest Seaport Alliance says it will launch a feasibility study to evaluate business opportunities in the offshore wind supply chain. The study, apparently assigned to consultant Moffatt & Nichol, aims to assist NWSA in positioning the gateway to support the burgeoning offshore wind supply chain market.
