ABC: Contractor confidence remains strong despite rise in material prices

  • Data report finds solid backlog of construction projects.

    Contractors continue to report a solid backlog of construction projects, according to a report issued yesterday by the Associated Builders and Contractors.

    ABC says its Construction Backlog Indicator increased to 8.4 months in April, according to a member survey conducted April 22 to May 6. That's down by half a month from April of last year, but up by 0.2 months from the prior month.
