Lydig picked as GC/CM for $100M Aki Kurose rebuild

A 65,000-square-foot addition and a 140,000-square-foot modernization is planned for Aki Kurose Middle School, which opened in 1952 as Casper W. Sharples Junior High.

Seattle Public Schools selected Lydig Construction of Bellevue last week as general contractor/construction manager for a $100 million modernization and addition at Aki Kurose Middle School in the Rainier Valley in southeast Seattle.
