Pickleball courts planned for Pierce County park

The city of Lakewood recently approved a design contract for four pickleball courts at Harry Todd Park, shown in the photo.

The pickleball craze continues to bear fruit in the Puget Sound with Lakewood now set to get four new courts at Harry Todd Park. The park is located on 17 acres at 8928 N. Thorne Lane S.W. Current amenities include a swimming beach, fishing pier, boat docks, playground, bathrooms, two sports fields, a skate park and a picnic shelter.
