Jansen to build RapidRide J Line

SEATTLE — As expected, the city of Seattle last week announced its intent to award Jansen Incorporated of Bellingham a construction contract to complete infrastructure work for SDOT and King County's new RapidRide J Line bus route.

The contract will be approximately $83.5 million. Jansen's winning bid came in at $82.6 million. A total of four bids were received.
