PUYALLUP — Five teams have submitted responses for the final stage of the state Route 167 Completion Project by the Washington State Department of Transportation.
This fourth stage (known as Stage 2b) will build a new 2.6-mile section of SR-167 between the Puyallup Recreation Center and Interstate 5, complete the diverging diamond interchange at I-5, build eight new bridges, a new half-interchange at Valley Avenue, complete work on a shared-use path, and perform 113 acres of wetland mitigation and restoration.
