Montlake's new bridge, lid open tomorrow to pedestrians, cyclists and looky-loos

Looking west, the bike/pedestrian land bridge is the lower connection pictured, east of the landscaped Montlake lid and interchange on SR 520.

Seattleites watching the $486 million Montlake lid project take shape since before the pandemic will finally get their chance to really take in the view at tomorrow's opening of the new bike and pedestrian bridge and 3-acre landscaped freeway lid between Montlake Boulevard and 24th Avenue East.
