$14M awarded for energy retrofits

OLYMPIA — The Washington State Department of Commerce has awarded 26 grants totaling $14.3 million to fund retrofits for existing facilities and other energy-saving projects at public buildings.

The funded projects are aimed at reducing emissions, enhancing the comfort of building occupants, and improving the cost efficiency of public building operations.
