Avoid these top errors in building permit applications

SEATTLE — Filing an application for a building permit? The Seattle Department of Construction and Inspections wants to save you time, and effort, with a new guide to help reduce errors in the process.

On its Building Connections blog, SDCI says it often sees some recurring mistakes on applications, such as incorrect addresses, incomplete plan information, and missing permits from other city departments. Such errors often require applicants to resubmit information, or wait through several permitting cycles.
