OLYMPIA — The Washington State Transportation Commission will meet twice next week to discuss bringing more housing and multimodal transportation to underutilized strip mall corridors, designing roadways to reduce crashes and preserving the state's bridges.
The hybrid in-person/virtual meetings are open to the public and scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Feb. 19, and Feb. 20 from 9 a.m. to noon. Meetings can be attended in person at the Washington State Department of Transportation Headquarters Building, at 310 Maple Park Ave. S.E. on the Capitol Campus in Olympia, or virtually on Zoom, with registration. Comments may also be submitted ahead of the meeting.
