Meetings on new tower crane rules

TUKWILA — New rules and permit requirements are in the works for tower cranes, and the state Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) is looking to keep stakeholders informed.

L&I's Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) is conducting rulemaking to implement new state laws passed in 2024 to establish a permit for the performance of any work involving the operation, assembly, disassembly, or reconfiguration of a tower crane.
