Ship Canal Bridge work is scheduled

SEATTLE — After announcing in January that it was postponing long-term lane closures for preservation work on the Interstate 5 Ship Canal Bridge, the Washington State Department of Transportation says it has identified four weeks this summer for some lane closures.

The work is part of Revive I-5: Yesler to Northgate project. WSDOT has been working with contractor Guy F. Atkinson Construction to adjust the schedule and scope of the project, in order to “align construction spending with available budget.”
